Easter Message - 2022
Christ is risen!
He is risen indeed!
Every year we celebrate the miracle of good over evil, light over dark, life over death. Every bite we take from our Easter eggs should remind us of the stone having been rolled away and the tomb being found empty.
Jesus was not there, He had risen from the dead.
Every year we are reminded of this, the greatest miracle of all time. We must not let this knowledge vanish as the chocolate eggs seem to do.
We now know, that this world is more than we can see and touch and smell. This world is part of a greater whole. Because of Easter day, death is not the end. Because of Easter Day, there is new life and new hope.
Bible study
Bible Study meets on alternate Mondays to the Prayer meeting.
We meet at 7.30pm in the vestibule of Kelso North to read and discuss God’s word to us. All are welcome.
What can we do to help Ukraine?
Several people locally have signed up to host Ukranian refugees. If you are not able to host there are many supporting roles which will be invaluable. KCT [ Kelso Churches Together] are hosting a weekly cafe in Kelso North. They are also organising a befriending group and Teaching English as a foreign language. Please contact Rev Anna Rodwell on 07508810237 for more information.
The power of prayer
Prayer Group meets on alternate Mondays to the Bible Study Group at 8pm in the Vestibule of Kelso North.
‘Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.’ Romans 12:12
