Services on Sunday 21st Jan 2024
Looking forward to seeing everybody tomorrow. Thank you to those who looked after the services for me while I was poorly. This Sunday we will be hearing from Jonah and Mark about listening and responding to God.
Just a little announcement to keep everyone up to date :
You will be aware from Media coverage, both locally and nationally, that the Church of Scotland is requiring its Presbyteries to reshape church life within their bounds. Here in Kelso North and Ednam, we are now part of Lothian and Borders Presbytery. We have been asked to move towards a union with Kelso Country Churches.
To this end, a Basis of Union document has been drawn up. All members on the Roll of Kelso North and Ednam Parish Church will be eligible to vote. The congregational vote will be by secret ballot and will take place in Ednam Parish Church on Sunday 4th February after the 9.30am service and at Kelso North, on the same day, after the 11am service.
Any bona fide member or adherent of the congregation may vote in person. Proxy voting is not permissible.
A copy of the Basis of Union will be made available on the day of voting or may be obtained beforehand from Kelso North and Ednam Office.
Rev Anna Rodwell
